Country Management Team oversight
The Al Wassi CMT, based in Tripoli, 24/7 Security Advisory line by phone, skype, email or text. The British Libya County Operations Manager (COM) and the team will always be available to your diplomats based at the villa and any other representatives.
HCN Team Leader
Al Wassi will provide a TL to deliver all the journey management to and from the airport, and task sites for the duration of the visit. The TL will be an experienced and competent Libyan security officer with a good knowledge of the areas of operation and English Speaker.
Drivers
Al Wassi will provide Local National Drivers who will be fully vetted and be able to demonstrate driving competence in accordance with Libya legislation and Al Wassi standards. All drivers have carried out the Al Wassi Driving Course and are familiar with basic medical protocol (such as CPR).Our Drivers are familiar with local routes and traffic patterns.
Transportation Vehicle Fleet
The highest risk of incident from a security perspective is while people are moving between secured locations. Hostile elements can target vehicle moves with relative ease compared to attacking static locations. The impact of any incident while travelling through a city such as Tripoli is magnified by the potential for rapid escalation without immediate support.
Tracking
We have various means of communications that include landlines, GSM mobile phones, and satellite communications. Al Wassi will supply tracking devices to each vehicle for the duration of the project. Each unit has a panic button and text capability. The units are monitored by our operations and in case of an emergency, A team will deploy to the scene as soon as possible.
